Happy Monday friends! I hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed some yummy Super Bowl snacks! We had a productive weekend and had a date night on Friday that I’m sharing tomorrow, but I officially have a new favorite restaurant in NYC! Jon and I watched the game at home and had some healthy buffalo chicken dip and made some guilt free pizzas.
This week is officially the start of my busy season and I’m determined to maintain my sanity and health. One of my goals is to always meal prep so that I don’t just eat a bunch of junk when I’m burning the midnight oil. I like to joke that I don’t want to gain the tax season ten. This week I made my Dig Inn bowl, and I’m so thankful to have Jon to help me with my meal preps.
My other goal this busy season is to go to yoga once a week. There is a class on Tuesday mornings in my building so it’s extremely convenient. I haven’t been to yoga in over a year and have really felt the difference. I also don’t stretch very regularly so yoga is such a great complement to my lifting. I also love the mental benefits of yoga too, that’s definitely needed with the stress of busy season.
Top 3 Reasons I Practice Yoga:
- Increases flexibility which can help prevent injuries
