Boozy Brunch at WILD Park Slope

Hi friends, welcome back! (Disclaimer: this post may cause hunger) A few weeks ago WILD Park Slope reached out to me on Instagram and invited me to a Boozy Brunch at their Park Slope Brooklyn location. I love brunch foods, so without hesitation, I enlisted Jon to accompany me for brunch on his birthday weekend.

We took a quick subway ride into Brooklyn and walked a few blocks to the restaurant. I had never been to Park Slope but I liked the quietness and chill vibe compared to Manhattan. I’d love to explore the area more one day. After arriving at the restaurant, Jon and I picked a table on the patio to soak up the fresh air and warm, sunny day. Perfect patio weather!

To start our boozy brunch, I picked a peach Bellini and Jon opted for the classic Mimosa. WILD offers a one-hour bottomless brunch for those looking to have a more festive time.

After perusing the menu, I ordered the French Toast with a side of scrambled eggs to get a mix of sweet and savory. My entree came with delicious, fresh fruit and a choice of hot or iced coffee. I thought the French Toast tasted delicious without being overly sweet. I also loved the freshness and fluffiness of the bread, there’s nothing worse than mushy French Toast.

Jon ordered the Wild Eggs Benedict with a side of sweet potatoes and an arugula salad.

This brunch felt quite filling, and then our waiter brought over the dessert tray and we couldn’t resist the Peanut Butter Mousse Brownie! It tasted as delicious as it looked and now, I felt very full 🙂 Jon and I were heading to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden afterwards, so this brunch kept us perfectly satisfied the rest of the afternoon.

WILD prides itself on serving the freshest ingredients and features an all-natural, local, completely gluten-free menu. In addition to a location in Park Slope, you can also find WILD in the West Village and Guatemala. Their brunch menu is relatively standard, but their lunch/dinner menu features delicious looking pizza and seafood. I’d like to try their gluten-free pizza to see how it compares to other pizza I’ve had in the city. Jon and I had an enjoyable boozy brunch on a glorious summer day! If you’re in Brooklyn looking for a gluten-free brunch I’d give WILD a shot. I wouldn’t say it was THE BEST meal we’ve ever had, I have an incredibly high bar, but the food tasted great and we enjoyed our experience here!

  1. I like big breakfasts. It all looks so good, especially the french toast. I’d add some syrup though for an interesting flavor with the strawberries as well as the toast.

P.S. I made sure to read while full. John

    1. Smart to read while full! I use Jons phone to take food pics and he doesn’t want me taking pictures with sticky fingers 😂 but lots of syrup was consumed 😃

    1. Haha we get that question a lot 😂 but during the week we eat healthy and we workout regularly
