Hi friends, welcome back! Last December I was invited to check out a trendy restaurant in Brooklyn called Elite Williamsburg that offers a “High-Energy Dining Experience”. They have quite the Instagram following, so I was excited to see what all the hype was about. Jon and I went on a Tuesday night and the place was bumping! I’m not usually one to go out on a Tuesday night, but I’m so glad we did!
The drinks at Elite Williamsburg are incredibly aesthetic and tasty. I chose to start with the “The Mula” (jack apple, ginger & cider) and it tasted like a green apple Moscow Mule, and then I ordered a frozen strawberry daiquiri. The daiquiri tasted like something from my childhood, like a fruit roll up or something, but I couldn’t quite place the taste. Jon ordered the Elite Sours (sweet and sour, old forester, lemon & red wine) and The Mula. We both favored The Mula and we’d highly recommend it!
For appetizers Jon and I chose the Chicken Empanadas with a jalapeño herb aioli sauce and the Philly Cheesesteak Quesadilla. It’s hard to go wrong with anything fried or cheesy, they both tasted amazing! The appetizers were very filling and the quesadilla could be a whole meal in itself.
Our favorite entrée was the Linguine Pasta & Shrimp (linguini + sautéed shrimp, garlic basil, chardonnay wine, chili flakes, manchego cheese cream sauce & asparagus) I loved the creaminess of the sauce with the crunch of the shrimp, with a bit of a kick. It was the perfect winter entrée! These pictures really don’t do it justice, but this pasta was so tasty!
Jon and I also enjoyed the Elite Burger (grass-fed 8 oz cheeseburger + lettuce, tomato & onions + french fries) This burger was simple, but delicious!
I’d say the price point at Elite Williamsburg is in the middle for the appetizers/entrees, and the drinks are on the higher end for NYC. The atmosphere is very hip, young, and fun, and music blasted all night long. There were couples, friends, and people celebrating birthdays when we were there so it seems like the place to be! It reminded me a bit of Beauty and Essex and I loved that restaurant! I’d recommend checking out Elite Williamsburg, it’s one of my favorite collaborations to date and we had a blast! In my opinion, Elite Williamsburg lived up to the hype and I’m so glad we checked it out!
I need to get to Brooklyn next time I’m in town. I go once in 50 visits. Lol
Haha same, for every 50 places in the city we go to one in Brooklyn. But it does have a cool vibe!
Those empanadas look delicious. I am with you on the cheezy and fried, but please don’t tell my doctor. Thanks for sharing Lyssy. Allan
Your secret is safe with me 😃
Delicious, I would also have opted for the mula as I love ginger! The empanadas looked great too with the Philly on them. You are making me so hungry Lyssy!
Good choice! Moscow mules are my favorite drink these days 🙂 I forgot my hunger disclaimer haha.
Everything looks really delicious!
It was so delicious!
Wow the Philly Cheesesteak Quesadilla and the linguini pasta and shrimp 👌🏼
I don’t know how you could eat all that and not gaining weight 😄
Haha I usually only eat like this once a week or I’d need to buy a brand new wardrobe ha!
😂😂
Delicious, anything with melted cheese on it wins my vote 🙂
Nothing better than melted cheese 🙂
Great meal, Lyssy. The pasta looks great. I guess there was no room for a dessert after all that food 🙂
