2019 Favorite Memories

Hi friends, Happy New Year!!! I hope you all had a fun night celebrating and have a great year ahead! Jon and I had a nice, quiet night watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel before the ball drop. 2020 is going to be an amazing year, but before I jump ahead, I wanted to recap 2019. It was such an incredible year, one of the best, and I would be remiss if I didn’t share my favorite memories.GDki9R2EToawpnfIs8ZNTg

January

Jon and I took a trip to Puerto Rico with his office to volunteer and vacation and we had an absolute blast! Our favorite part was being in the amazing weather and exploring San Cristobal! I also loved getting coffee and walking along the beach, it was way better than winter in NYC.

February

We celebrated Valentine’s Day by going to the MET and then having dessert at Serendipity. I shared their famous frozen hot chocolate with Jon’s sister ten years ago, so it was really special being back with Jon.

Jon and I saw Hamilton on Broadway and it was AMAZING!! You definitely need to see this ASAP if you haven’t already! We still sing a lot of the songs from the show on the daily.

May

This was my favorite month of the year because Jon and I spent 9 days in Scotland! I didn’t want the vacation to end and it was even better than anything I could have imagined. This was our first international trip together and I loved exploring new places. We saw lots of castles, hiked some cliffs, and went on a ghost tour! You should read about our trip here, here, here, and here if you missed it 🙂

June

It took us a while to get over our jet lag from Scotland, so we had a pretty low-key month. We did celebrate Jon’s Birthday at Locanda Verde and had a fantastic Italian dinner

July

I said yes to the dress!! I went with my mom and sisters and found my dress at our first appointment. I was terrified I wouldn’t find a dress I like so this was a huge victory!

After my tax season ended, Jon and I went to Manchester, VT and had such a fun weekend! We hiked, went to the cider mill, and saw all the fall foliage! It was the perfect weekend unplugging away from the city.
