What’s Up: July 2018

I’m going to start linking up with the first blogger I ever read, Shay Shull, for my What’s Up posts. Each month I’ll be answering the following questions:

  1. What I’m eating: Based on our freezer we only eat naan bread pizza, post workout smoothies, and ice cream. But seriously, Jon and I eat this naan bread pizza at least 4-5 times a week and I usually make a smoothie to bring to breakfast at work.
  2. What I’m reminiscing about: that I’ve already been in NYC for a month, time flies! I’ll be posting a NYC update soon 🙂
  3. What I’m loving: now that the weather is nice I love walking and taking the subway instead of driving places
  4. What I’m dreading: really humid days of summer ahead. In the morning it can get pretty gross commuting to work, luckily I can wear a tank top/dress and leave a sweater at work.
  5. What I’m Up to: exploring NYC and getting settled. You can read about exploring Battery Park and World Trade Center here
  6. What I’m working on: finally getting a new Macbook Pro!! My Mac now is from 2010 and keeps crashing, so it’s definitely time. We’ve been through high school, college, and grad school, and post grad life together!
  7. What I’m excited about: going home for the Fourth of July with Jon. There are fireworks over the lake and Jon will finally get to meet some more of my family. I’m taking two days off of work so it’ll be a nice weekend of relaxing  SCAN0451
  8. What I’m watching/reading: I’ve been reading Crazy Rich Asians and I love it. I need to get a library card so I can read the next two books. Jon and I are on season 2 of Suits and like it so farimg_3508
  9. What I’m listening to: Perfect by Ed Sheeran and Andrea Bocelli is my new favorite. Jon’s barber played it at his salon and it played every other song and I was definitely not complaining
  10. What I’m doing this weekend: travelling back to Mi to celebrate the fourth of July.test030
  11. What I’m looking forward to next month: going to Nashville for my friends bachelorette party!
