My workouts are always a little all over the place when I travel. I’m switching to a new program when I come back from Portland, so I didn’t follow my program to the T this week. I was a little distracted and unmotivated during my workouts during the week, but that’s a normal thing to happen, and it happens to everyone. Sometimes it’s good to take a break from the gym if you feel burnt out, and it gives the body a chance to recover.
Sunday I really didn’t want to go to the gym, but I did, and I ended up having a great workout. It’s funny sometimes how the workouts I least want to do end up being my best.

Monday: 45 minute walk
Tuesday: complete off day
Wednesday:
- Squat: 170# 5×3
- Sumo Deadlift: 135# 3×8
Thursday:
- Bench: 105# 5×5
- Shoulder Press: 65# 4×5
- Cable Rear Delt Fly: 20# 5×8
Friday:
- Deadlift: 205# 5×2
- Sumo Deadlift: 135# 4×8
Saturday: dancing all night at my cousin’s wedding
Sunday:
- Bench: 110# 5×3
- Overhead tricep extension: 25# 5×8
