Hi friends, welcome back! It’s officially spring, so I thought it would be fun to make a NYC Spring Bucket List. I’m feeling optimistic and waiting for the trees and flowers to bloom, so for now I will just day dream about spring. This past Saturday was the perfect spring weekend and I’m so ready for more. There’s a short window in NYC between the nice spring weather and oppressive heat, and I’m determined to make the most of it! As you can see from this list, I’m looking forward to the spring blooms, spending maximal time outside, and hoping NYC is rewarded with some nice spring weather after all these winter storms.
NYC Spring Bucket List
- Visit the Bryant Park spring market
- See the Cherry Blossom Trees and Conservatory Garden in Central Park
- Dine outside on a nice day
- See the Cherry Blossoms & Rose Garden at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden
- See the tulips blooming in Battery Park
- Walk the Highline
- See the blooming garden at Little Island and attend a performance
- Have lunch at Smorgasburg
- Visit the Met Cloisters
- Enjoy a flight of wine at Rooftop Reds
- Try a new ice cream shop
- See the Orchid Show at the NYBG
- Attend a baseball game
- Have coffee outside at the Starbuck’s Reserve
- Go hiking
- Stop by the Macy’s Flower Show
- Have a drink at a rooftop bar
- Spring clean the apartment
- Have a picnic and watch the sunset in Battery Park
What are you looking forward to this spring?
Gorgeous photos and interesting list. I’d be up for all of those, except the spring cleaning.
Haha one benefit of living in a one bedroom apartment is that cleaning isn’t such a chore 🙂
Wish I could say the same!
Beautiful
Lovely!!! I don’t know that I’ve had a proper NYC spring experience! Enjoy every bit of it!
Thank you! The spring is such a happy time in the city, and it smells so good (relatively ha)!
I’ve never been to New York but I bet it’s a wonderful place to visit during the spring time when flowers and shrubs are in full bloom 🥰 thanks for sharing and have a good day ☺️ Aiva
The spring is such a beautiful and happy time in NYC. I hope you can make it to NYC one day! Hope you have a great wee, Aiva!
That is an awesome Spring list! Also your photos are beautiful!!!
Wow excellent photos ! Well shared 🙂🙂❣️ thanks 😊👍
Thank you!
You are welcome 😊❤stay blessed ❤💕
Looks like a great bucket list. Lovely photos too!
Thank you!
Love all the blooms and the sure signs of spring Lyssy. I recall all the blooms we saw on our April visit. Thanks for sharing. Allan
Glad you enjoyed! I am looking forward to seeing some spring on your walks hopefully soon 🙂
Beautiful images. Beautiful flowers.
That is a great bucket list, except for the Spring cleaning. Ha ha! I’m looking forward to the cherry blossoms. Should be very soon.
Haha I think spring cleaning won’t make the list once I have a house! The cherry blossoms here are just beginning to show signs of blooming.
Thanks to previous Lyssy posts I’m familiar with many of the items on your list even though I live nowhere near NYC. I can see how a high-rise one-bedroom apartment motivates an outdoor bucket list (especially in springtime). Hope you check every box!
Thank you! Yes, after being cooped up all winter, we are ready for some fresh air and vitamin D! We are lucky we are a corner unit with big windows and sunlight, but nothing beats being outside. When I make it to Central Park I’ll have to look out for more bridges, I haven’t forgotten your suggestion 🙂
That’s a lot of stuff Lyssy, will be interesting to see if you can get it all ticked off. Spring is here too and we can (just about) start to feel it.
I hope I can get must ticked off, it seems like. spring lasts about a week but we shall see! The anticipation is killing me haha. Hope you have a great spring!
That’s some list!!!! Sounds wonderful!!
Beautiful thanks so much for sharing. I was in New York years ago, but now I need to go back to explore all those amazing botanical gardens! 🙂 As I have grown older I now like gardens and galleries!! Thanks 🙂
Beautiful photos! Never been but you provided alot of good ideas..
Thank you!
