Hi friends, welcome back! I’m full speed ahead when it comes to all things fall and today, I’m crossing off an item on my Fall Bucket List and sharing my Trader Joe’s Fall Haul for you all. Doesn’t it seem like all of a sudden pumpkin flavored everything completely took over fall? I asked google, and the first Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte hit the market in 2005, definitely more than the five years or so I thought it was. Nowadays everyone is capitalizing on pumpkin spice everything from Cheerios to Oreos to deodorant, everything has some pumpkin variation. Trader Joe’s is hands down my favorite place to check out all the new pumpkin flavored foods, I love meandering around Trader Joe’s. I excitedly went to my favorite TJs for my annual fall haul and there were pumpkins and fake leaves everywhere.
I’m not the biggest pumpkin spice fan so I like to look at the items more than try them out. I purchased the below items, you can’t go wrong with some pumpkin cinnamon rolls to eat on Halloween morning, pumpkin waffles, fall shaped tortilla chips, a spooky gingerbread house, Halloween Joe Joe’s for my charcuterie board, pumpkin beer and cider, fall foliage, and a mini cinnamon whisk for that hint of a fall scent wafting through our apartment.
Next, these items I’ve bought in a prior fall haul and would recommend: pumpkin cereal bar (aka a Nutri-grain bar), petite pumpkin spice cookies, and pumpkin spiced teeny tiny pretzels.
I’ve had these crisps before and they are just ok, they looked better than they tasted.
Some intriguing items in the frozen/refrigerated section I saw: pumpkin empanadas, spicy pumpkin samosas, butternut squash mac & cheese bites, pumpkin ravioli, pumpkin ginger hold the cone, and pumpkin spice hummus.
I think it’s safe to say there’s a pumpkin flavored item for everyone, it seems everything you could ever eat or cook with has been pumpkin-ified.
These all looked delicious, but I resisted buying them.
I got so distracted by all the fall items I forgot to get the main items I had on my list ha! What items would be in your Trader Joe’s Fall Haul?
Hard to believe what a big marketing deal Hallowe’en has become for the retailers. After Covid setbacks, I am sure they are even more on top of it to try and get some profits. More power to the. I’ll just stick with the candies. Thanks for sharing Lyssy. Allan
It’s pretty crazy, and the marketing starts earlier and earlier each year. Can’t beat some classic Halloween candy! Thanks for reading 🙂
We don’t have Trader Joe’s in France, nor Thanksgiving though I am partial to my home-made spicy pumpkin soup.
Your soup sounds delicious!
Easy peasy to make
The pumpkin ravioli looks amazing!
After all the photos, my mind couldn’t get past your initial words, “pumpkin spice deodorant”. Seriously, who comes up with this stuff? It’s hard for me to to pass up a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice latte (as it will be the Chestnut Praline latte at Christmas), but I’ll have not problem sticking to my standard brand of deodorant.
Haha it’s a natural deodorant brand that had it, I’d say that’s a little too far but I’m sure people bought it… A Chestnut Praline Latte sounds very delicious!
Trader Joe’s has a great variety. But I buy tons of cookies Halloween candy and coffee
Cookies, candy, and coffee are my favorites!
Big haul, looks like you bought out the store! 😛 I love Trader Joe’s…sad that we don’t have it in Canada.
It’s a good thing I have to carry my groceries home or I might actually buy the whole store ha! I hope they expand to Canada so you can enjoy the TJ magic haha
I’m all about pumpkin spice lattes and baked goods… but deodorant? Oh boy. I think I’ll pass.
Me too, it is a natural deodorant brand called Native. I stick to coconut vanilla like a normal person hah
