Christmas at Rockefeller Plaza 2019 ๐ŸŽ„

Hi friends, welcome back! Can you believe weโ€™re in the single digit countdown until Christmas!? This past weekend was my last weekend in NYC before Christmas so Jon and I crossed off the biggest item on my NYC Christmas bucket list, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree! Iโ€™ll be honest, weโ€™ve been procrastinating on seeing this tree because itโ€™s quite a feat. You have to be mentally prepared for the crowds and hardly being able to move. The tree is a touristโ€™s paradise, but itโ€™s a must see!

On our walk over to the tree from the subway, we passed by these giant ornaments.

Jon and I were on a mission to get a picture of the tree and then escape the crowds. Mission accomplished! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

We then walked down a very congested Fifth Avenue so that we could see the Plaza Hotel. Unfortunately, you must be a resident/guest to gain access โ˜น๏ธ But nonetheless, we still wandered across some great decorations! This is the Cartier store, very fancy!

The Peninsula Hotel also has a great Christmas Display.

At this point in the day (about two hours in), Jon and I were drained, but I really wanted to see the Saks Fifth Avenue light show, so we walked back to Rockefeller and caught the show. It only lasted a few minutes, but it was neat to see!

Jon and I were exhausted when we got home and finished the night watching Home Alone 2 ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you all have a great week!
