Wedding Weekend in Traverse City

Hi friends, today I’m sharing the second part of my birthday weekend home in Michigan. In case you missed part one, you can check it out here. On Saturday morning Jon and I rented a Volkswagon SUV (way better than the van we drove from MI -> NYC) and headed up to Traverse City for my friend Lauren’s wedding.

The wedding was at Bregman Brother’s winery and it could not have been a more beautiful day for an outdoor wedding!

The ceremony was outside, and then the reception was under this pretty tent. The cake and donuts were delicious!

My forever wedding date, being at this wedding together makes me even more excited for ours. We danced the night away! We loved being able to see Jon’s sister at the wedding too, she was one of the bridesmaids.

It seems like just yesterday Lauren and I were in high school together and then attending every MSU basketball game together, and now she’s married! Time is just flying by!

The last item on our busy weekend was a golf outing with Jon’s family. It was a beautiful day to golf, I got a tad sunburned, but now that busy season is upon me I won’t be getting much sun.

It was such a nice weekend home seeing family and friends. It was definitely an exhausting weekend, but so worth it to see our family and friends! We have about a month break in NYC and then we are flying down to Atlanta for Labor Day to see Jon’s family. I’m going to do my best to post consistently during busy season, but please bear with me the next two months 🙂 I’ll try the best I can.
