NYC Spring & Summer Bucket List

Hey friends! I’m back!! I survived tax season #5 and am back to the regularly scheduled blogs. This past busy season was my first with my new firm and it was a lot better than my last one. I only had to work two weekends, so it was really nice that I could still spend time with Jon. Busy season was still exhausting, but now I have a few months to relax and enjoy the nice weather! On Fridays I can work remotely which is great, and I have reduced hours right now. It’ll be nice to have this break and get some creativity back.IMG_2865_polarr

This weekend we are heading to Michigan to spend Easter with my family. I haven’t seen them since Christmas, and before we got engaged, so I’m really looking forward to seeing them. It’ll be a busy weekend filled with some wedding planning now that I have time to think about a wedding instead of taxes. There’s not much else new, I’m just extremely happy to be done with busy season and get back to a normal schedule.IMG_2862_polarr

I wanted to make a bucket list of all the spring and summer activities in NYC that I want to do before my next busy season. This is my first spring in NYC so I’m excited for some nice weather and more exploring. Let me know if there’s anything I’m missing on this list!

  • Have a picnic in Central Park
  • Go to Smorgasborg in Brooklyn
  • Bike through Central Park
  • Have drinks on a rooftop bar
  • Attend a yoga class in Bryant Park
  • Go to a Yankees game
  • Visit the New York Botanical Garden
  • Visit the Bronx Zoo
  • Try new ice cream shops
  • See the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island

Thanks for following along, stay tuned for regularly scheduled posts 🙂
