Lyssy’s Eats: El Vez Review

This past weekend we celebrated National Margarita Day with some of our friends. We were a day late, but we didn’t care. We went to El Vez in the Financial District and had such a great time and meal.

I started the night off with a Classic El Vez margarita and Jon got the Frozen Blood Orange margarita.

The menu was pretty typical for a Mexican restaurant. We ordered the Macho Nachos for our appetizer and it was delicious!! Jon researched the menu ahead of time and read a lot of yelp reviews, and his suggestions did not disappoint.

For entrees, Jon and I split the Tacos al Carbon with the artichoke chicken and grilled skirt steak. It came with tortillas, peppers, onions, guacamole, and salsas.

This was very tasty and we would recommend! Fair warning that it does come with more veggies than protein.fullsizeoutput_128d.jpeg

Lastly, the décor was very interesting to say the least!IMG_2198_polarr.jpg
