Central Park Spring Tour 2024 – Part Two

Hi friends, welcome back to part two of my Central Park spring series! If you missed part one, you can catch up here. After walking through the beautiful canopy of cherry blossoms by the Reservoir, I continued my search for more cherry blossoms. There are quite a few behind The Met and this is always a popular picnic spot.

The Obelisk surrounded by beautiful blossoms.

I love seeing everyone out enjoying the beautiful day!

The Alice and Wonderland Statue and Conservatory Water.

The rowboats are out on The Lake and so are the cherry blossoms.

It doesn’t get much better of a day than this!

It wouldn’t be a Central Park tour without a stop at Gapstow Bridge.

As I was heading back to the subway, I couldn’t resist snapping a pic of Pulitzer Fountain outside the Plaza. Spring is officially here in NYC, I just hope it sticks around for a while!

Hope you enjoyed all the Central Park spring blooms!

  1. Fine weather and blossoming trees: the perfect combination for a lovely afternoon in the park. It was the same in Paris, with perhaps a few more leaves on the trees.

    1. I agree, it was a perfect day in the park. It is weird how the other trees take much longer to get some leaves.

    1. It sure has, yesterday even felt like summer. Might finally be time to put my parka away.

  2. I think this is about the time we were last in NYC in 2013. The park was and is still very beautiful and it gave us a good glimpse of springtime in Manhattan. Beautiful tour Lyssy. Have a great Monday. Allan
