Hi friends, welcome back! I started following some local Instagram accounts and when they all shared the Halloween decorations at Arch in Bloom, I knew I had to check it out. Arch in Bloom is a beloved landscape design company that has been seasonally transforming their garden center into festive displays for the community.

The owner, Derek, introduced himself to us and was so kind to give Violet her own little pumpkin. He designs the displays each season and I think he does an excellent job!

There’s a little shop inside that sells cute gifts and featured more decor. The rooms were a little too scary for Violet so I got some quick pictures before we went back outside.

I enjoyed our spooky adventure to Arch in Bloom and I look forward to seeing their Christmas displays. What do you think of these decorations?
What a fantastic display, I can’t imagine the planning that goes into putting something like that together!
He did a great job, I bet it took months of planning.
Enjoyed the Halloween tour!
Glad to hear!
Wow, these Halloween decorations are truly amazing, dear Lyssy, and it certainly looks like a high-effort seasonal spectacle. I love how they combine spooky details with beautiful autumnal elements such as flowers and colourful leaves. We just spotted a pair of skeletons sitting outside the local pub in Sligo while on the school run, and the girls were shrieking with pleasure. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx
He did an excellent job designing and putting together these decorations! It is nice, especially for young kids, to have areas that aren’t so spooky. That is so fun! I’ve started to notice houses around me have begun decorating. It’s a fun time of year 🙂
Violet’s reaction to the scary decorations reminds of when we took our 5 year old son to Disney World. He really wanted to go on the Haunted House ride. It was very dark so I could not see his reaction and he never said a word. When we finished the ride he asked if we could ride it again. Because this time he wanted to ride it with his eyes open. 😃
That is a hilarious story! I missed a week of third grade to go to Disney.
So lush and creative! I love visiting places like that.
It’s so fun to see people’s creativity and effort!
Fabulous decor
I thought so too!
Oh that is really neat. Their displays are so creative.
I loved all the different variety, so creative!
What a fun experience Lyssy. I’m sure that Violet will appreciate it more when she’s a bit older.
It was a lot of fun to wander through the decorations. I bet, for now she gets excited when I turn on my pumpkins at home that are not at all scary.
This looks fun! I love the displays; very festive. It’s been so hot here it’s hard to get into the fall spirit, so it’s nice to see some fall decorations elsewhere.
So festive! It is hard when it’s so hot out. We’ve been lucky that it cooled down quickly. Had to turn on my heat last night.
Very whimsical, very spooky! Arch in Bloom is the perfect way to ring in the festive fall season, Halloween and all! Thanks for sharing, Lyssy 🙂
It was the perfect place to be to kick off our Halloween in the suburbs 🙂
How fun! There is so much to see in every single picture. I can’t believe they have time to take it all down and put up Christmas displays! Maggie
It wasn’t the biggest space either so they really maximized in the best way. I suppose if he owns a landscaping company he’s got lots of helping hands!
Love the Halloween decor. I totally agree about how Derek does an excellent job with the designs and displays!
I think he does displays for homes too with just the pumpkins…maybe one day!
Awesome Lyssy. Is this place close top your new home. I would be there every event to see what they came up with. Happy Wednesday. Allan
It’s in our town but about twenty minutes from where we live. Definitely worth a visit! They host some community events too they had a pumpkins & pints but we couldn’t make it.
I’m always in awe of the imagination that goes into all these decorations, not to mention the work involved in making them.
Me too it’s really a skill!
So cool, it screams Halloween. I love all the colour and decoration – but can see why you thought some of the rooms were a bit too scary for Violet.
My favorite is always all the mums in different colors. They go so well with all the fall leaves. I’m also admiring that boat that has been used for shelving items. Also, the Black Pearl is very creative!
thank you for the tour! Here in Australia, Halloween is only just taking off. So it’s interesting to see! Linda 🙂
