Hi friends, welcome back! This month was filled with March Madness, taxes, and spring weather. I am happy the time is flying by because that means my wedding is getting nearer and nearer. 54 days from now to be exact, and yes, I’m counting! It’s feeling like spring in the city and I think everyone here has spring fever! Jon and I checked out Central Park on weekend and went hiking the next. It’s amazing how great some sunshine and fresh air can make you feel! Hope your spring is off to a great start! ☀️
On to my post 🙂 I’ve been linking up with my first and favorite blogger I ever read, Shay Shull, for my What’s Up posts. Each month I’m answering the following questions:
What I’m eating: pizza, sushi, and ice cream!
What I’m reminiscing about: our trip to Lake Placid! This was our first trip post-covid and we had so much fun exploring the town and hiking. It’s one of our favorite places we visited
What I’m loving: spring weather! The city is feeling alive lately and it gives me a lot of hope. Jon and I went hiking in the Hudson Valley this weekend and I’m so excited to go again! It’s amazing to be able to hop in our car and go now, the possibilities are endless 🙂
What I’m dreading: I have two and a half more weeks of busy season
What I’m Up to: trying to balance tax season and wedding planning. It always seemed like our wedding was always a year away, but now it’s less than 8 weeks and we have to work out all the little details. Luckily our parents have been doing the heavy lifting with the planning so that we will have the perfect day!
What I’m working on: planning our honeymoon! I’m having the hardest time picking where to go which makes planning quite difficult…
What I’m excited about: my upcoming bridal showers! They will be held virtually, but it will still be fun to see family and friends and have a celebration!
What I’m watching/reading: We have been enjoying watching the Marvel movies in chronological order. We watched Wanda Vision to see what the hype was about and were a little confused, so now it’s going to all make sense. We also finished watching the most recent season of Outlander. I’m still reading Secret Life of Bees, but I promise I’ll have a new book next month 🙂
What I’m doing this weekend: celebrating Easter! Jon and I are making each other Easter baskets so I’m excited to see what he picked out for mine. Maybe we will have a little egg hunt for fun, ha!
What I’m looking forward to next month: finishing busy season and taking a TBD weekend getaway! It’ll be our last hurrah before we are officially married.
