NYC Christmas Decor Master List – Part Two

Advertisements

Hi friends, welcome back to the conclusion of my holiday series! I’m wrapping up my Christmas Master List with the sights below 42nd Street not quite worthy of their own post, but worth seeing. If you missed part one you can check it out here. Starting at the beautiful New York Public Library guarded by the two lions, Patience and Fortitude. I believe people refer to this tree as the Harry Potter tree, probably because of the owls. Nonetheless it’s very pretty and tastefully decorated.

New this year is this carousel right by Macys. It was making me a little dizzy with how fast it spun!

I visited the Washington Square Arch tree and enjoyed the lack of crowds. Usually I prefer ornaments on trees, but I think this one looks nice plain.

Brookfield Mall always looks festive.

I love this tree overlooking the World Trade Center.

The remembrance tree at FDNY Ladder Co. 10

Zuccotti Park is always fun to walk through this time of year.

The Seaport has a large tree near the street and by the pier there is a polar bear art display and the Wavertree is lit up festively.

My favorite tree is the Wall Street tree. I think it’s prettier than Rockefeller and there are never crazy crowds. Violet and I stopped by some of the tree lighting ceremony and enjoyed the live music. I walked by after visiting Rockefeller and it was a ghost town at 8:30am on a Saturday!

I have had the best time seeing all the decorations around the city and sharing them with you all. Hope these posts have brought you some joy and festiveness! I managed to see all the popular sights and we ended up getting in to see the Macy’s Santa, but Violet was not a fan! It’s been a great year and I’m so happy to be back on the blog sharing the city with you all. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! I’ll see you in 2026!
