Bergdorf Goodman Holiday Windows NYC 2025

Hi friends, welcome back! Today I’m sharing Bergdorf’s holiday windows, and I always think they have the most unique and artistic displays of all the department stores. This years theme is “The Bergdorf Soiree” depicting “an ode to the city’s one-of-a-kind glamour during the festive season. Designed with clients in mind, the campaign embraces the elegance of “getting-ready moments,” champagne toasts with loved ones and the unforgettable fashion statements that define the thrill of a holiday evening in New York City” per their press release. I can’t say I’ve been to a holiday party that looks anything like what’s depicted in the windows, but I think they did a great job! Each window has so many intricate details, dimensions, and objects, but it somehow looks seamless. They say it takes 6,500 hours to create the windows and another 2,000 to install! I found some descriptions of the different scenes on Bergdorf’s Instagram:

“A Mad Hatter’s Bash,” a whimsical after-hours takeover featuring partygoers in sculptural hats—including one inspired by our famed chandelier.

“Masquerade Ball,” a surreal scene honoring creative professions—from poet to clockmaker—each character hidden behind an ornate disguise.

“Party Animals,” a jubilant cast of characters takes us on a fantastical birthday field trip

“Holiday Glow Up,” an exuberantly illuminated holiday block party.

“New Year’s Eve Countdown,” a dazzling mosaic of clocks, crystals, and movement celebrating the year’s final, electric moments.

There are little windows in between the main displays that are dripping in diamonds and designer pieces.

The windows on 58th Street give a little preview of what’s to come. They seem to always have an incredible gingerbread house in this window.

Across Fifth Avenue the men’s store has some festive scenes that are more realistic, but equally fun.

What do you think of Bergdorf’s holiday windows this year? I always enjoy their windows and can only imagine how much work went into them. The displays will be up until January 5th, 2026 if you find yourself in the city.

  1. So fun to see the window dresser’s ideas. Some you would never have thought of. Quite different than the last windows you showed. Happy Wednesday Lyssy. Allan

    1. It is fun to see their imagination and creativity! My brain could not come up with something like this.

  2. They are very eclectic. The first few have so much going on, I don’t know where to look! I love the gingerbread house and the dancing couple on NYE the most. Thanks for the tour Lyssy! Maggie

    1. There’s so much going on it’s hard to even do them justice! Apparently inside there is a Swarovski gingerbread house worth over $50,000!

  3. These displays are so far removed from anything my logical-brain imagination could come up with (except for the gingerbread house) that I can’t help but admire them. Whimsical, eclectic… there’s a whole host of words reserved for this sort of thing. Maybe Alice-in-Wonderland-y. Your comment about the hours invested to create/install blew me away, but also speaks to the profit margin on their products!

    1. Me too! They are a bit Alice-in-Wonderlandy-y and it’s hard to even do them justice with all the different textures and depth. I think each item they sell has a huge profit margin! I feel like the average person that enjoys their displays typically doesn’t shop at Bergdorfs.

  4. Those definitely don’t look like any sort of party I’ve ever attended either but you have got to give them huge props for such creativity!

  5. Very bright and dazzling, almost overwhelming! Now that’s the way to get into the holiday spirit! Thanks for sharing Bergdorf Goodman’s decorations with us, Lyssy!

  6. Wow, these are so beautiful and certainly a must-see due to their intricate craftsmanship, elaborate designs, and luxurious fashion displays. It is quite obvious that he shops in New York City go all out for the holiday season. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

    1. It is amazing how much work goes into each window. The stores are all really doing the most this year and I love it 🙂
