Central Park Maternity Pictures

Hi friends, welcome back! I figured I would wrap up fall by sharing some of our Central Park Maternity pictures. I always had the vision of taking these pictures with all the pretty fall foliage and we got lucky with the leaves turning early this year. I was excited to make my vision a reality at some of my favorite spots in the park. We’d previously worked with our photographer Emily, so I knew it would be a fun shoot. We started the session at Bow Bridge.

Then we headed over to Bethesda Fountain.

Last but not least, the Mall.

We couldn’t have asked for a better morning and we’re so happy with how our pictures turned out! If you’re ever in need of a NYC photographer, we’d highly recommend Emily Louick Photography. We previously took pictures with her in Central Park and kept in touch the last few year so it was great to reconnect and have her capture this special time. I think her work speaks for itself, but she’s also great at making you feel comfortable and has a quick turnaround.

We are in the home stretch before the little one’s arrival, so I’m going to keep myself busy with all the holiday cheer. Stay tuned!

  1. Wow, these are such beautiful photos and a fantastic way to document your journey through pregnancy, Lyssy! I find that taking maternity photos together with your partner is a great way to strengthen your bond and celebrate the new life you’re bringing into this world. It’s that final chance to document how your dynamics are changing – you’re morphing from a couple into a family. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

  2. These are beautiful, classy and sophisticated pictures. It is hard for me to wrap my head around this as your former third grade teacher. I am so happy for you.

    1. Thank you so much! It’s been going very well, my only complaint these days is the insomnia from her late night dance parties.
