Hi friends, welcome back and come on in! I’ve got a holly jolly home tour for you today. Babyproofing my decorations has been in the back of my mind for months and I think I succeeded. I did most of the decorations while Violet was napping and she came out and started clapping so I think I did a good job. She loves the tree and so far hasn’t taken anything off.
Besides the tree, I was wracking my brain trying to figure out how to hang our stockings. I used to have very heavy stocking holders but I could easily see those being yanked off the table, so I pivoted to command hooks and I think it looks nice and clean.
The living room I kept mostly the same although I took all the fragile/sentimental ornaments and moved them to our tree so it looks a little bare to me compared to normal.
The kitchen is home to most of my Santa collection.
Some new plates I’m adding to the rotation this year. I have them in salad & dinner plates.
Some of my other dishes & mugs collection. Anthropologie has the cutest holiday mugs in my opinion.
I usually leave this tree with just lights in our bedroom, but it’s a safe space for fragile ornaments this year.
Violet’s room has the only new decorations this year. I got her some flannel sheets, updated her book case, and displayed her Christmas quilt made by her great grandma.
Hope you enjoyed this festive apartment tour and have a Happy Thanksgiving!
