NYC Upper West Side Halloween Decorations 2023

Hi friends, welcome back to another spooky tour! While researching festive activities around NYC, I realized I’ve been neglecting the townhomes on the Upper West Side. I always love the over the top decorations on the Upper East Side, but have yet to venture west in October until this year. I scoured the web and Instagram to plan my route and headed uptown on a beautiful, crisp, fall day. There were a few homes that went all out, some that went for a minimalistic approach, and some showcased a classic fall front porch. I organized this post by street for those visiting NYC in the fall and also so I can use this as a guide next year 🙂 I got off the subway on 96th Street and found the first house on 94th Street between Columbus and Amsterdam.

88th Street between Columbus and Central Park West.

87th Street between Amsterdam and Central Park West.

83rd Street between Columbus and Central Park West.

82nd Street between Columbus and Amsterdam.

81st Street between Columbus and Amsterdam.

78th Street between Columbus and Amsterdam.

75th Street between Columbus and Central Park West.

71st Street between West End and Amsterdam.

This is how I would decorate my stoop.

69th Street between Columbus and Central Park West.

I feel qualified to rate the overall to rate the decorations in the neighborhood, and I’d give it a B-. There weren’t as many decorated houses as I expected, but I thoroughly enjoyed my spooky stroll through the Upper West Side. What do you think of these Halloween decorations?
