L.E.A.F. Flower Festival NYC 2022

Hi friends, welcome back! The Meatpacking District was recently filled with gorgeous flowers for the annual L.E.A.F. flower show. The event was held from June 10th – 12th and I went on a beautiful Friday mid-morning when it wasn’t too crowded. I still had to be patient to get the perfect picture, but last year Jon and I went on a Saturday afternoon and could hardly move by some installations!

There’s not much information about the show, including what L.E.A.F. stands for, but per the website it’s “An extended weekend dedicated to spotlighting world class floral design, supported by FTD (Florists’ Transworld Delivery) and Pernod Ricard brands, L.E.A.F will feature a European-style flower market presented by TF Cornerstone, large scale floral installations and displays, as well as retail and hospitality activations and experiences around the neighborhood.”

The flower displays seemed never ending and I loved that they had a band playing! A perfect day, beautiful blooms, and peaceful music playing, what more could you ask for?

Such a perfect day for the flower festival! I especially loved all the different colors incorporated in the arrangements.

There were quite a few free samples being given out too, this popsicle was a life saver with the heat! Everyone was stalking the popsicle guy for their own refreshing, sweet treat.

I also loved this La Croix Stand, they had Limoncello and Cherry Blossom free samples.

The Starbucks Reserve even had some free samples too. I did quite well for myself!

I never got around to posting the festival in 2021, so here are a few of my favorites from last year 🙂

The flower show has been around since 2019 and it seems to be held around the second weekend in June, so if you’re in NYC during that time, I’d highly recommend checking out the show! It was so fun wandering through the streets of the Meatpacking District and taking in all of the unique and beautiful floral displays. There were also quite a few places to sit and enjoy the scene too and lots of great restaurants. I’d advise going as early in the day as possible to get some free samples and avoid the big crowds, but no matter what, it’s always a fun, festive show!
