Hi friends, welcome back! After living in NYC for over three and a half years, I FINALLY made it to Central Park after a fresh snowfall. We had a false alarm earlier in the week, but Friday morning delivered over five inches of snow throughout the city. I felt like a kid hoping for a snow day, and surprisingly, NYC kids didn’t get their highly anticipated snow day. When I woke up, I immediately looked outside and saw some snow. It didn’t look like much, but I confirmed with the news that Central Park had over five inches… showtime!
I hopped on the relatively empty subway uptown and headed to Rockefeller Center first. The tree is up until January 16th so I was happy to get to see my favorite tree again. I loved how beautiful the tree looked covered in a blanket of snow. The area seemed so empty and calm compared to the chaos before Christmas.
I walked up Fifth Avenue and all the stores had taken down their Christmas decor, I miss it already!
As I approached Central Park, all I could see was WHITE! I took the same path as my Fall Tour and I decided I like the park covered in a fresh snowfall the most. I loved how peaceful and serene this walk was, and I put on my iHeart Christmas radio and made my own White Christmas morning.
First stop, The Pond. I think this is the prettiest spot in the park, and probably the most iconic.

I continued north and loved seeing the trees and sidewalks covered in snow.
I walked through The Mall under the breath-taking, snow-covered canopy of branches. What a sight!

I headed out of the park and saw the kids having a blast sledding. Not a bad hill for a city kid!
Coming home I walked by the NYSE tree and it looked so pretty with snow. When I walked by the following day, the tree and decorations had sadly disappeared.
I LOVED walking through Central Park after this snowfall, it was such a dream to see the park covered in white. I’m hoping we get one more snowfall so I can retrace my steps in the northern half of the park. I hope you all enjoyed this beautiful tour and are staying warm where you live 🙂
