Miracle on 9th Street – NYC Pop-Up Christmas Bar

First things first, I can’t believe we are a week away from Christmas!! Second unbelievable thing is that his weekend Jon and I actually went to the BAR! This was actually going out to a bar for a non-work-related event. There are these Christmas pop up bars all over the country that have festive drinks, so Jon and I decided to go and try it out! The one in NYC is called Miracle on 9^thStreet and we had a lot of fun.

The line wasn’t too long, we probably waited 40 minutes, but it wasn’t cold or rainy so the wait wasn’t miserable. When we went to Black Tap to get the infamous milkshakes we waited about 45 minutes in the cold rain and it was not fun!

The inside was all decked out in Christmas décor and I loved it! There were presents hanging from the ceiling, stockings on the wall, and ornaments everywhere. We got a seat at the bar and I liked that it wasn’t too crowded inside.

Our first round I ordered the Christmaspolitan and Jon got You’ll Shoot Your Rye Out. I really loved all of the festive glasses the drinks came in. The Christmaspolitan was definitely my favorite drink!

Our second round we got Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel and Snowball Old Fashioned. The Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel was pure alcohol and wasn’t my favorite, but college me would probably have been pretty happy!

On our way home we stopped by the tree on Wall Street and got a few pics! I love how the New York Stock Exchange is lit up every night green and red, it’s just so festive.

We had such a fun night at the pop-up bar! I’d recommend trying it out if there’s one in your city for sure!
