A Snowy Day in Central Park

Advertisements

Hi friends, welcome back! NYC hasn’t gotten much snow the past few years, so when I heard we were getting more than a few inches, I knew I had to take advantage. These pictures are from December 14th, 2025 when we woke up to a winter wonderland. I had already planned to see some of the Christmas decorations on the Upper East Side, so this was a bonus.

I entered the park on 59th Street near The Pond. This area of the park was especially popular with all the tourists in town for the holidays.

Gapstow Bridge.

Wollman Ice rink seemed at max capacity.

Such a beautiful day in the park.

The Mall is magical on a snowy day.

Bethesda Fountain.

Bow Bridge and a large population of geese.

The Conservatory Water is drained for the season.

Some final snaps as I made my way out of the park near 76th Street.

Central Park is always so magical after a snowfall! I will say now that we have had a few snowfalls and this bitter cold, I’m ready for spring.
