Guilt Free: Chocolate Peanut Butter Oats

I absolutely love eating  oats for breakfast. They’re an excellent carb source and keep me full all morning long. I usually eat microwaveable packets because they’re so convenient, but they can include unnecessary sugar (this is why they taste so good).

This recipe that Jon created has no added sugar because of the sweetener, and tastes almost like you’re eating dessert. The PB2 also lowers the calorie content and makes this a diet friendly recipe. You can also add in a scoop of peanut butter or chocolate protein to make some “proats” aka protein oats 😋

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 serving oats
  • 2 TBS PB2
  • 1 TBS Hershey cocoa powder
  • 1 TBS Splenda or Stevia
  • Sprinkles

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together
  2. Add water until it covers all of the ingredients
  3. Cook in microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds
  4. Enjoy

  1. Looks good! I make something similar every morning too. I use steel cut oats, regular peanut butter and unsweetened baking cocoa, sometimes with a splash of unsweetened almond/coconut milk. It does taste like dessert! What a great way to start the day!! I’ll have to try the sprinkles sometime. 🙂

  2. I will have to try that! I usually have microwaved oat as well and I am trying to cut out more unnecessary sugar.
